Having accurate and high quality artwork will give you the best results on your next project.

Please follow our guidelines when creating and submitting art to us. Don’t have artwork? Just contact us with your ideas and we can help!

Artwork files

Vector artwork files should be saved in Adobe Illustrator (.ai, .eps, .pdf). All type included in your design must be converted to curves or outlines to prevent the loss of your chosen typeface. (font)

Don’t have a vector file? Include high resolution raster files of your artwork (.tif, .pdf, .png, .jpg)

for screen printing

We suggest the minimum height on small letters should be .25 inches. We try to avoid sizes smaller than this since they have reduce legibility and cause difficulty printing.

All design elements should contain a line thickness of at least 1pt for the best printing results.

for EMBROIDERY

Several types of file formats work well for embroidery artwork, not just vectors. The preferred file types are .png, .pdf, .ai, .jpg, and .eps files. Vector art is not required but does work well since it is the highest quality format available for logos and artwork.

What is the difference between a rasterized image and a vector?

Our design team prefers the image on the right (a vector) as opposed to the image on the left, which is rasterized.

Raster images, such as JPGS, are comprised of pixels arranged to display an image, and can become blurry when scaled. Vector graphics are made up of paths, that tell the program how the image is made up and can be scale; vector files are in the formats .ai, .eps, .pdf.
